Teletherapy in Nevada

I carry a small caseload, so I have more energy to devote to you.

I intentionally keep my caseload small—usually between 5 and 10 clients—to give each client the time, energy, and focus they deserve. That means our sessions are thoughtful, personalized, and grounded in genuine connection. I stay closely tuned in to your progress, adjust things as we go, and ensure we're always moving in a direction and pace that feels right for you. Simply put, I’m not juggling so many clients that I’m running on empty—you get a therapist who’s fully present and genuinely invested in your growth.

I am a licensed MFT in Nevada, offering telehealth to all adults in Nevada

As a licensed marriage and family therapist in Nevada, I support you through life’s challenges—whether that’s living with a chronic health condition, healing from medical trauma, or navigating a major life transition. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported and empowered—where your strengths are recognized, your voice matters, and you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I went back to school (again) to become a therapist.

After earning my Ph.D. in Counseling and Educational Psychology, I spent nearly 20 years working in education for the State of Nevada. I loved creating large-scale, positive change, but over time, I realized I was missing the deeper, more personal connections from working one-on-one with people. That realization led me back to school to pursue a master’s in marriage and family therapy, to the work I’m most passionate about: being a therapist.  My background in education and the public sector has given me a deep appreciation for the challenges that prevail in those arenas, and I bring that insight and empathy into the therapy room.

So, what happened next?

After I earned my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, I worked in several mental health settings, including assisted living facilities, a mental health inpatient/outpatient hospital, a rural mental health agency, and private practice. These experiences gave me a well-rounded understanding of the challenges facing people from many walks of life.

Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices tailored to meet your unique needs. I prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges and goals openly. Utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and brain-based therapies, I work with you to develop practical strategies for managing life's challenges, enhancing resilience, and fostering personal growth. Together, we'll navigate your journey toward healing and empowerment, focusing on achieving meaningful and sustainable changes in your life.
